Stuffed explores the notions of need, want, necessity, surplus, excess and waste in our society. The work was created specifically for exhibition at the Anderson Art Center in Kenosha, WI January 27- March 3,2019. The project uses over sixty pairs of jeans that have been stuffed with donated clothing: New packages of T-shirts, socks and underwear (as well as over 250 other items of clothing). Ten additional pairs of stiffened jeans hang from the ceiling in the gallery space. Students from the Verona Area High School, Verona,WI helped with stuffing and hand-sewing.
