Ribbonplay Fiesta
59” x 65” Fused fiber fragments: cottons, blends, silk, satin, lace and trapped threads. Sheer overlays. Found objects: coins, stamps, candy wrappers, notions, safety pins, paper clips. Machine embellished with cotton, rayon and metallic threads.
I coached gymnastics for many years. Playing with the ribbons was one of our favorite activities.
