Garden Series
I make art with fiber, thread, and cloth, hand-dyeing with high contrast, saturated, intense color. I often use torn and stitched fabric collage to create impressionistic garden and forest views. I create the garden in “my mind’s eye”, since the weeds grow tall and wild, while I am in the studio, dyeing, painting and stitching.
